Bruce Fummey - Aaah'm Votin Yes

Bruce Fummey's show, ‘Aaah’m Votin Yes’ takes the issue of independence away from the news room into the domain of comedy, swapping political speeches for satirical gags, and staid policy presentations for quick witted audience interaction.

Venue: The Beehive Inn (Venue 178)
Not convinced by Alex Salmond? Doubtful of the economic viability of independence? Bruce Fummey thinks he can change all that. His show, ‘Aaah’m Voting Yes’ takes the issue of independence away from the news room into the domain of comedy, swapping political speeches for satirical gags, and staid policy presentations for quick witted audience interaction. This apparently is ‘educomedy’: an hour of comedy which will subconsciously educate us, perhaps a little worrying if you’re a steadfast ‘no’ voter. Expect no nonsense comedy, an absence of niceties and especially if you’re English an interesting audience experience... I’m guessing we’re still welcome?

This show looks to be one not to miss.

"Fantastically entertaining and thought-provoking show. Some brilliant gags and stories, and the best analysis of the "I'm a proud Scot, but..." mentality that permeates too much of the Indy Referendum. Fummey is a born story-teller who deserves a wider audience. Highly recommended! " - Scottish Teacher
